WILLIAMS, THOMAS E., 75Ocala - Thomas E. Williams, 75, passed away October 6, 2008 at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, FL. He was a retired contractor, was an avid crossword and jigsaw puzzle worker, and golfer. He was born in Berlin, NH, and grew up in Norwalk, CT. He moved to Ocala after living in Plantation, FL for 26 years. He is Christian, and was a lifetime member of Angela Santos VFW Post #4781. He was in the Combat Engineers during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by Anne Marie Williams his wife of 55 years, daughters Lori Roarke (Manny) Alvarez of Weston, FL, Lynn (Scott) Kroop of Margate, FL, Shelley (David) McDougle of Coconut Creek, FL, son Thomas Brian (Frances) Williams of Plantation, FL, and 8 grandchildren. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association. Memorial services will be held at a later date in Ft. Lauderdale. ROBERTS FUNERAL HOMES BRUCE CHAPEL WEST is in charge of arrangements.
