<!-- FH = Peterson Funeral Home, Aurora -->Thomas Dale WilliamsThomas Dale Williams, known as Tom Williams, died Aug. 19, 2012 in the final stage of the terrible mind-robbing disease of Alzheimer's. He fought a courageous fight to the end. He was a well-known and much respected businessman, and owner of TOM WILLIAMS MACHINE, INC. for almost 30 years. The business is still operating under the able management of Ed Lewis.Tom was preceded in death by by two infants and one son, Darin; two brothers, Harold and Eugene.He married Lee (Leola) Henson on Dec. 28, 1955, who survives. They have one surviving daughter, Dale (David) Conn of Lakewood, CO; granddaughters, Amy (Brex) Wollin, their son and daughter, and Sarah (Dan) Blehm and their daughter. He is also survived by three brothers, Roy (Valda) of Springfield, MO., Charles (Delores) of Sunrise Beach, MO. and Martin (Garlene) of Unionville, MO.; five sisters, Elsa Manes of Springfield, MO., Willodean Vaught, Rebekah (Rex) Miller and Glenna Edmondson all of Cassville, MO. and Evalina (Gene) Shippee of Dillon, MT.He accepted Christ as his savior at the age of 24 and was baptized. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Aurora, MO.Tom was a designer and creator, always able to envision a better way to do things. He loved his work, and was very successful at what he did. He never had a dull or boring day in his life, with always another idea in his mind. His main line of work at present has been designing and manufacturing of cable plow parts, which are sold nationwide.Memorial services will be held on Thursday Aug. 23 at 10:00 a.m. in the Southside Baptist Church under the care of Peterson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Maple Park Cemetery.Visitation will be Wed. from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Hospice or to Southside Baptist Church, Aurora, MO.
