GAGNON-CASTONGUAY, Therese Following a courageous battle with cancer, Therese Gagnon-Castonguay, spouse of Denis Castonguay, died peacefully in Ottawa, on June 22, 2009. Therese will be remembered as a compassionate person who embraced life by living her faith through generosity and availability to all. She will be missed by her spouse, her sisters, Francis, Opal (Leonard), Marcella (James), Leona and Noella, her brothers, Alban (Lilli), Leo (Nicole) and Reynald (Helene), her mother-in-law, Rita Lussier, her brothers-in-law, Marcel (Anne), Marc (Mary), Jean (Renee), Bertrand (Nicole), Jacques (Anne-Marie) and Marc-Andre, her godchildren, Ron and Chistopher, as well as her nieces and nephews. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 585 Somerset West (Centretown) Thursday June 25, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday June 26, 2009 from 9 to 11 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday June 26, 2009 at 2:30 pm at the Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica, 385 Sussex Drive in Ottawa.
