GOWANS NEWTON Theresa-Mary (Newton). Born Elora, Ontario, May 5, 1916. Constant and beloved wife of David Gowans of Ville St. Pierre, passed away at the Montreal General Hospital on December 4, 1998. Beloved mother of Patricia Desjardins, Jean Parker, Donna Gowans, David Gowans. She will also be deeply missed by her children's life partners, Robert Desjardins, Paul Parker, Harry Guyatt, Sharon Gowans and seven loving grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visiting to be held at Urgel Bourgie, 1750 Notre Dame, Lachine, Saturday, December 5 from 7 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, December 6 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Services, Monday, December 7 at St. Igniatius of Loyola Church, West Broadway, N.D.G. at 11 a.m. If desired, flowers or a donations to your choice of charity in Theresa's name may be made.
