Theresa Helen (Peters) Wynne August 6, 1922-April 20, 2014 . Our dear mother, Terry, died at Lions Gate Hospital early Easter Sunday morning. She is survived by the three of us, Joan (Ken) McCance, Susan, and Peter (Janet), grandchildren Ian and Emily McCance, Madeleine, Laura and Julia Wynne, and also by her brother Brian Peters. She was predeceased by our father Jim (Gib) in 1994. Terry was born in Thetford Mines, Quebec, married Jim in 1950, and moved to West Vancouver in 1970. In her earlier retirement years, she was a world traveler, an avid hiker, and an expert quilter. Until the end, she loved books, chocolate, cats and dogs, flowers, and watching sports on TV, especially curling. We are grateful to the staff at West Vancouver Care Centre for looking after Mum for the past four and a half years. And we express our heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff on 4E at Lions Gate Hospital for the care they provided Mum and us over a very difficult few days. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony's Parish, 2347 Inglewood Avenue, West Vancouver on Saturday, April 26 at noon. Vigil prayers will be held on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. If you wish, please make a donation in Mum's memory to the charity of your choice. Kearney Funeral Services 604-736-0268
