ObituaryTheodore "Ted" B. Johnson, 71, of Cape Coral died Tuesday November 13, 2007. He was born in Lansing, MI in 1936 to his parents, the late, George B. Sr. & Margaret Johnson. Ted worked for the Department of Defense for over 36 years. He retired in 1995. Formally of Glen Burnie, MD he moved to Cape Coral in 2001 and began working for Busey bank. Ted served honorably with the US Army and was a member of the Elks Lodge.He is survived by his children Sherry (Rob) Ziegler of Sykesville, MD, Ted Johnson and Holly (David) Brooke of Chester, MD. Three brothers George B. Johnson, Jr. of Ocala, Fl, Dr. Terry (Barb) Johnson of Midland, MI, and Bill (Joni) Johnson of Cape Coral. His companion Sandi Smith of Cape Coral, six grandchildren Christy, Becka, Kayla, C.J., Sean and Ashlee, four nephews and one niece.Funeral services and military honors will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Saturday November 17, 2007 at the Metz Funeral Chapel in Cape Coral. Burial will immediately follow. Viewing will be Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
