Thelma Mae Wallace, age 77, of Muscle Shoals, Alabama, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014. She was a member of Highland Park Church of Christ. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 22, from noon-2 p.m., at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Service will follow at 2 p.m. Officiating will be Brother Ben Hayes.She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Shelton, sister, Mildred Monks, brothers, Morgan and Weldon Shelton.Survivors are her wonderful husband of 60 years, Doug Wallace; son, Barry Wallace and wife (Sue); daughters, Rhonda Pass and husband (David), Penny Burbank and husband (Jeff), Kim Oakley and husband (David); grandchildren, Shauna James (Brian), Brittany Durham (Scottie), Kyle Oakley (Katie), Brent Oakley, Shelby Oakley, Amanda Wallace (Brannon), Cody Wallace, Sarah Pass; great-grandchildren Ella, Emmie, Garrett and Audrey.Pallbearers will be Kyle Oakley, Brent Oakley, Cody Wallace, Brannon Willbanks, Scottie Durham and Brian James.Special thanks to the staff of the NICU at Huntsville Hospital.You may sign our online guest book at colbertmemorial.com.
