JOHNSON, Thelma Mae, 93, of Plant City, passed away August 22, 2005. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Johnson; her son, LeRoy Johnson; two sisters, Lori Pate and Lucille Rogers; and two brothers, Julian J. Williams and Ward Williams. She is survived by four sons, Robert M. Johnson and wife, Betty Jean, Jackie C. Johnson and wife, Joyce, Jimmie E. Johnson and wife, Peggy, and Larry J. Johnson and his wife, Royal Jo; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Cairo, Ga., and moved to Florida in 1917. She was a charter member of Ahava Baptist Church. Funeral services will he held 11 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2005, at Hopewell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Holland officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Cemetery in Sydney, Fla. The family will receive friends for visitation 5-7 p.m. Wednesday (today) at the funeral home. Flowers will he accepted or donations can he made to Ahava Baptist Church.
