STEWART _ Thelma Anne Long time resident of Norgate Park Born April 23, 1925 in Welling, Kent, England. Passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at the age of 81, in Evergreen House, Lions Gate Hospital, North Vancouver, BC. Predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Donald Charles, on January 19, 2006. Thelma came over as a War Bride and was a member of the War Brides of Vancouver, living in Vernon, Prince Rupert and settling in North Vancouver in 1953. She is survived and will be missed by her only child Pamela and son-in-law Bruce of Comox, BC. Thelma will be missed by all who knew her for her smile and the hats she always wore. Her daughter would like to thank the staff of Evergreen House TCU and 2 South for all their support. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006 at 2 p.m. in the Boal Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Evergreen House, Lions Gate Hospital in her memory.
