Terry Alan Smith 1947-2014 Terry Smith, age 67, of Birch Ridge, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, December 13, 2014 with his loving wife and sister, Sharon and Matt by his side. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Charles and Thelma (Bonnell) Smith. Terry worked for Monarch Construction for many years. He loved to work the land, loved his trucks, loved being outdoors, loved thunder storms and loved his “best bud” Shadow. Terry will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Dorothy (Steeves); sister, Sharon MacArthur (Raymond); special niece and nephews, Joanne, Matt and Tyler and many extended family members. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses on the 4th floor and ICU for their kindness and understanding. Visitation will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A service to celebrate Terry’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Doug Howatt officiating. Interment will be held in Lone Pine Cemetery, Canaan Station. He will be missed by family and many friends. “Rest in Peace” Donations in Terry’s memory can be made to the Canadian Wildlife Federation (1-800-563-9453).
