CASDEN-THOMPSON, TERRI. - Terri Casden-Thompson, 54, died peacefully at Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, Florida on Monday, April 10, 2006 at 2:48 p.m.. Cause of death, liver cancer. Terri was born in New York City on Dec. 5, 1951. She spent her early years in the Five Towns section of Long Island. She graduated from Northeastern University School of Nursing in Boston in 1972. Terri was a respected nurse for many years at Ormond Beach Memorial Hospital. Terri is survived by her husband, Neil Thompson and his son, Neil, Jr.; her parents Sidney and Catherine Casden, Ormond Beach; her sister, Suzanne Casden “Pookie Teller” and Suzanne’s husband, Raffaele Borriello, M.D.; her nephews, Jared and Bradley; her stepbrother , Kevin Kelley, Vermont and his children, Alexandra and Liam and their mother, Diane St. Clair. Terri was the beloved daughter-in-law of Mitch Tucker; loving sister-in-law to Marsha, Claudia and Treva; dear cousin of “Cheech” Cherry Frost, her husband, “Frosty” Tom Frost and their children, Cheri, Brittany and Brad. Terri’s lifelong friends include Claire “Claireco” and Sharon “Sharona”, Connie, Debbie, Linda and her faithful pets, Sonny-Boy, Sheba, and Smokey. A special thanks to her friends and colleagues, Richard Weiss, M.D. and Joan Pshonick, R.N. Terri’s beauty, brilliance and zest for living are remembered by all who shared life with her. A memorial reception will be held in Terri’s honor on Sunday, April 30th and Monday, May 1st at her sister’s home at 141 Combs Ave Woodmere, NY 11598 (516) 569-0694.
