McKENNA--Theresa. With deep sorrow, Hudson Guild announces the untimely death of our colleague and friend, Theresa McKenna. As Director of Development and External Relations, Theresa made a tremendous mark on Hudson Guild. She lead the effort to rebuild the Guild's fundraising operation and dramatically increased support for our essential social and human services programs. Beyond her substantial skill and ability, Theresa embodied the joy, optimism and sense of possibility that exists at the Guild. She clearly relished her interactions with the children, teens and adults in our programs, and was as invested in the people at the Guild as she was in her job. Theresa was creative, tenacious and resourceful, and was forthright and reliable. Importantly, she was also always quick with a laugh. All of us at Hudson Guild are stunned by this news, and Theresa will truly be missed here. We share our sorrow with all those who loved Theresa, and whom she loved.
