WHITE, THELMA LEE (LENEAR) - age 81 of Lenoir City passed from this life into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday morning, June 5, 2012 at the Parkwest Hospital. She was a member of Community Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, being totally dedicated throughout her life to her family. Thelma reared her five children alone, making sure that all of her children received a college education. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clay White; parents, William Russell Lenear and Haley Melinda Covington Lenear; and sister, Ernestine Forsythe. Survived by her children, John Tyler White and wife Debbi, Melinda Joan Cloninger and husband Bruce, Kenneth Clay White, Jr. and wife Bethann, Phyllis Ann Manning, and Robert Wayne White and wife Jan; grandchildren: Todd, Dianne, Kristopher, Josh, Holly, Jennifer, James, Russell, Clay, Jessica, David, Ben, Seth, William, and Abram; three step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Clarence, Charles, and Dexter Lenear; sister, Edna Underwood; several nieces and nephews; special friends Nina Estes and Louise Liles. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 7, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Community Baptist Church, 288 Hwy. 70 W, Lenoir City, 37771. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 p.m. with Thelma's sons and Pastor Dennis Kirk, officiating. Graveside services will be Friday, June 8, at 12:00 p.m., at Beech Springs Cemetery in Kodak.
