Obituary of Terence-David O-Neill

Terence David O'Neill of Pomona, NY., died on January 5, 2009, at home. Mr. O'Neill worked as a technician at Anchor Motor Freight in North Tarrytown. He was born December 13, 1940, in North Tarrytown, NY to Arthur and Margaret Daly O'Neill. Mr. O'Neill was educated in Stepinac High School, White Plains, NY and graduated in 1958. He earned a Bachelor's degree in History from Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1962. On October 5, 1985 Mr. O'Neill married Marilou B. O'Neill at St. Columbanus Church, Cortlandt Manor, NY. Mr. O' Neill will be remembered for being deeply Involved with his Irish heritage and pursued his duel citizenship, also for his love of sports, history and family. He is survived by his beloved wife Marilou B., His two loving sons Owen R. O'Neill of Saugerties, NY. And Liam D. O'Neill of Kingston, NY. , cherished sister Maureen F. O'Neill of Saugerties and his adoring grandchild Michael R. O'Neill of Schenectady, NY. Also survived by many cousins worldwide. Mr. O'Neill is predeceased by his son Terence Michael O'Neill. Calling hours are Thursday 2-4 and 6-8PM at the funeral home. Funeral Mass is Friday 10AM at Our Lady Mt. Carmel Church, Elmsford. Followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, NY.
