KENNEDY, Sylvia Rose It is with deep sadness that the family of Sylvia Kennedy announces her passing on Saturday, February 5, 2005. She passed away peacefully, with her daughters, Janice and Julie, at her side and she in now reunited with her one true love, husband Ron, who predeceased her in 1975. Sylvia is survived by her mother, Laurence Villeneuve, sister Denise Secours, brother Gary Villeneuve, sisters-in-law, Shirley Foley, Yolande Villeneuve, Denise Lambert, Lorraine Kennedy and brothers-in-law, Marvin Kennedy and Marcel Secours and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Adolphe Villeneuve (1980), two brothers, Robert (1983) and Bruno (2003) and her parents-in-law, Lorne (1980) and Anna (2000) Kennedy. Friends and family will be received at Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (a Westmount Rd.) Kitchener, Ontario, 743-8900, on Monday, February 7, 2005 from 7 until 9 pm and on Tuesday, February 8 from 2 until 4 and 7 until 9. Evening prayers will be held Tuesday evening at 8:45 pm Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi R.C. Church, 49 Blueridge Avenue, Kitchener, on Wednesday, February 9, 2005 at 11:30 am. We would like to extend a very sincere and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Williamson and the wonderful nursing staff on UT2 at Freeport Health Centre. Your caring, compassion and kindness to our mother and to us on this difficult journey is appreciated and will not be forgotten. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the organ transplant unit at Toronto General Hospital or St. John's Soup Kitchen would be greatly appreciated by the family.
