HomemakerWINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Sylvia M. Price of Winter Haven died of lung failure Tuesday (Feb. 4, 2003) at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 76.Born in Pikeville, Ky., on May 24, 1926, she came to Winter Haven from Homestead in 1982. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Winter Haven Baptist Church.Mrs. Price is survived by her husband, Carroll L. Price; daughters, Elizabeth A. Myers, Sioux Falls, S.D., Priscilla M. Thompson, Homestead; sister, Marie North, Annapolis, Md.; brothers, Floyd Risner, Akron, Ohio, J.D. Risner, Mobile, Ala.; three grandchildren; one greatgrandchild.Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 this evening at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Winter Haven. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Winter Haven Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Winter Haven Baptist Church.
