HENDRIKS, Sylvia Mary Alice (nee Reynolds ) It is with sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Mary Alice Hendriks (nee Reynolds ) on August 20, 2011 at the age of 91. Sylvia was born in Jamaica and moved to Victoria in 1963. She worked for many years in the Department of Municipal Affairs and subsequently enjoyed her retirement and time spent with her children and grand children. Predeceased by her husband Edward, in 1986, she leaves behind her children Andrea (John) Campbell, Anthony (Rowena) Hendriks, Carol (Charles) Lemery, her grandchildren Lyra (Adam) McLean, Taryn Campbell, Tyler Lemery, Justin (Nicole) Hendriks, Brendan Hendriks, Emma Hendriks and her much loved greatgrandson, Lochlan McLean. The family would like to thank the staff on the 7th floor at Selkirk Place for all their kindness and support over the last year. Her final days were eased by the skillful and loving care provided to her and the family by all the staff. Here is to a complete life, wholly lived. Funeral service will be on Monday August 22nd.
