TALBOTT Sylvia Sylvia Margaret Annetta Talbott (nee Oliver) passed away on October 12, 2006 at the age of 92 years. Margaret was born on October 3, 1914 at Elbow, Saskatchewan. With her family she moved to Verden, Manitoba where they lived for several years before moving to Arrowwood, Alberta in the early 1920's. Margaret married Percy Talbott on August 29, 1932. They lived and worked around Arrowwood for several years and then in the Vauxhall area from 1940 to 1954. Margaret and Percy retired to Gleichen in 1969 where she was active for many years with St. Andrew's Anglican Church, the Royal Canadian Legion and the Seniors Centre and also worked as a matron for the RCMP. She will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Lois Hoffman, Richard (Marjorie) Talbott, and Jack (Helen) Talbott; three sisters, Eleanor, Betty and Georgina; and one brother Gordon. Nana will be sadly missed as well by her fifteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Margaret was predeceased by her husband of fifty-six years, Percy, on March 3, 1988 and five brothers. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of the Strathmore Continuing Care Centre for the compassion and loving care they gave Margaret. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
