Sylvia Lee Johnson, age 90, of Harriman, formerly of the Wheat Community, passed away Oct. 10, 2012, at Roane Medical Center. She was a long-time member of Childs Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Lydia Ownby; husband, Rev. Earmel Johnson; sons, Robert and Earnest Johnson; and granddaughter, Stephanie Clark.She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Clayton Clark of Harriman; brother, Carl Ownby of Kingston; sister, Mary Griffith of Dayton, Ohio; and granddaughter, Lisa Johnson of Harriman.The family wishes to send a special thanks to friend, Pam Scarborough.Visitation will be held at Kyker Funeral Home Chapel in Harriman on Friday, Oct. 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will immediately follow with Rev. Tommy Hensley officiating. Interment will be Saturday, 11 a.m. in Willard Park Cemetery.
