->August 12, 1910 - March 22, 2006. Sylvia left us after a short illness and leaves behind a legacy of love. She was formerly the wife of Barney Lefcowitz in Buffalo, NY. She was the adoring mother of Joan Dautch, Phyllis Krasner and Richard Lefcowitz. Nothing was ever more important to her than her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Melissa was the first grandchild and was soon followed by Jamie, Mitchell and Michael, Sandra Ellen, Eric, Michael, Emily and Max. Then along came the grandchildren's children, Janaye and Erin, Allison and Will, Jason and Jeremy, Lindsay, Courtnay and Dane. She will always be a happy memory to us now and we are so grateful that she had almost a century of living and left us all with stories that will travel through our future generations.
