Obituary of Sylvia-Grace Horne


(nee Horne) A long time employee (Township Planner) of the Township of West Carleton and Library Volunteer With her family by her side, at home, on Wednesday, July 4, 2001 at the age of 73. Loving wife of Ray of Carp, Ontario. Beloved mother of Robert (Sandi) of Vancouver, BC, Gail (Dan) Donovan of Kanata, ON and Susan Grant (Pierre Simard) of Kingston, ON. Proud grandmother of Meghan and Heather Grant, Casey and Tori Donovan, and Zachary and Madeleine Simard. She is survived by her brother James Horne of Hobart, Tasmania, and sisters Iris Coutin, and Daphne (Bert) Jenner of London, England and Pamela (Fred) Evans of Swansea, Wales. Predeceased by her parents Charles Horne and Nellie (Colverd) of London, England and a sister Edna Horne of Exeter, England. Friends may call at the Valley Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp, on Friday, July 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial Service on Saturday at St. Paul's United Church, Carp, at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Huntley United Cemetery.
