Sybil Mincey Martin Smith, 76, of 6611 Highway 92, Enoree, first married to the late Fred C. Martin and later to the late Clarence A. Smith, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004.Born in Cumming, Ga., she was a daughter of the late Dewitt and Pearl Martin Mincey. She retired from the textile industry and was a homemaker. She was a very active member of Second Baptist Church of Laurens.Surviving are one daughter, Teresa McSwain of Enoree; two sons, James M. Martin of Laurens, and Freddie H. Martin of Pickens; two sisters, Winnie Cape of Alpharetta, Ga., and Janette Holtzclaw of Cumming, Ga.; three grandchildren, Karen Shipman, Lisa Martin, and Kellie May; and five great- grandchildren, Brittany Pack, Hannah Pack, Isaac Ford, Madison May, and Joshua May.Funeral services will be 3 p.m. today, Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004, at Second Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. J.D. Shiflet, Dr. Joseph W. Smith, Jr., the Rev. Stephen Smith, and the Rev. Thomas Faucette with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.The family will be at the home of her daughter, 6611 Hwy 92, Enoree.Memorials may be made to Lutheran Hospice, P.O.
