Services: Have been held. Suzanne Marie Carter, 56, died Sept. 22, 2006 at Dan C. Trigg Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Carter was born Jan. 31, 1950 in Chamberlain, S.D., to Walt and Alice Urban. She had moved in 1959 to Albuquerque with her family and in 1983 to Logan where she had been making her home. She was a member of the Logan Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Red Hat Society and in previous years was a volunteer with the Logan EMS Ambulance Service. Also, for a number of years she owned and operated the Paw Prints Pet Grooming shop in Logan. Surviving Mrs. Carter are her husband, T.O. "Slim" Carter of Logan, her son James (Dallas) Valentine of Nara Visa and her two grandchildren, Brea and Brook. Also surviving are her mother, Alice Scott of Logan; two step-sons, Ronald (Nadene) Carter of Conchas Dam and Raymond(Barbara) Carter of Jesup; a sister, Rosemary (Bill) Shetter of Tucumcari; and two nieces. For those who wish, the family suggests donations be made to the United Methodist Church of Logan in her memory. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home of Tucumcari.
