Obituary of Suzanne Marineau

MARINEAU, Suzanne Passed away peacefully at the Elisabeth Bruyere Health Centre on July 11th, 2005, following a spirited battle with cancer. Suzanne was an inspiration to all of us through the strength she showed during her illness. Beloved wife, special friend and soulmate to Ian Henderson. Daughter of H.P. Marineau and Lucy Gloutnez. Sister of Pauline, Celine, Renee, Luc and Jean and loving aunt of 6 nieces and nephews. Suzanne will be sadly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to be touched by her loving and gentle nature. Heartfelt thanks to friends and family for their support in helping make her last months so comfortable. Special gratitude to Dr. Laura Hopkins, Karen Smithers and all the nurses and caregivers who assisted Suzanne and Ian through this very difficult time. There will be no visitation. A memorial service to remember and celebrate Suzanne's life will be held at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore Drive and Baseline Road) on Saturday, July 23 in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
