TUSCALOOSA Susie Taylor Johnson, age 49, of Tuscaloosa, died July 31, 2006, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006 at West Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Forrest Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Oak Memorial Park with Rollins' Mortuary directing. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to funeral time.Ms. Johnson was the daughter of the late Robert and Mattie Taylor, both of Tuscaloosa.Survivors include her two sons, Edric (Anita) Johnson and Edzavier Johnson, all of Tuscaloosa; one brother, Bob Howard of Tuscaloosa; three sisters, Elra Jean (Lorenzo) Turner, Rosie Taylor, and Glenda Reed, all of Tuscaloosa; six nephews, Kelvin Howard of Birmingham, Keith Taylor of Tuscaloosa, Raymond (Selina) Washington of Enterprise, Jerry Reed, Jarvis Reed, and Jarvoya Reed, all of Tuscaloosa; three nieces, Angela (Lorenza) Walker of Huntsville, Kimberly King and Kristle King, both of Tuscaloosa; several great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of family members and many special friends.She was a faithful member of the West Highland Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Druid High School Class of 1974. She was employed by Nannies Learning Center until her health failed her. She served many people at Ryan's Steakhouse and Piccadilly's Cafeteria for a number of years.Pallbearers will be Cedric Alexander, Keith Taylor, Kelvin Howard, Jerry Reed, Robert Patterson, and Staff Sergeant Raymond Washington.
