Ms. Susie Lee Davis, 67, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, at Christian Home Baptist Church with the Rev. James Williams officiating and the Rev. Jessie Peay delivering the eulogy. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Chester County on Oct. 30, 1945, she was the daughter of the late James H. Davis and Rosa L. Alexander Davis. She was a member of Christian Home Baptist Church and attended public school in Chester County. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Survivors are one son, Bobby Vincent Davis; one daughter, Carolyn (Carl) Shaw; one brother, Lewis Heney; six sisters, Margaret (Ron) Manning, Janie (Sammie) McClurkin, Patricia (Edgar) Freeman, Betty Peay, Mary Collins and Gertrude Caldwell; three grandchildren; and three aunts, Valarie Holley, Floree (Ansel) Williams and Bessie Lowery. Viewing will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at King's Funeral Home, 135 Cemetery St., Chester, with visitation at 1:30 p.m. until the hour of service on Thursday at Christian Home Baptist Church in Lowrys.
