AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Susie Henderson entered into rest on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. William Bussey officiating. Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery. The body will lie in state one hour until the hour of service. The family will leave the residence at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011. She leaves to cherish her memories; Seven daughters: Gloria Daughter, Robin Middleton, Tara Henderson, Grimmer Henderson, LayGrand Grimes all of Augusta, Ga., the late Joanne Jackson and Mary Henderson. Three sisters, Gladys Adams of Augusta, Ga., Elizabeth Thomas and Gail Louise (Gilbert) of Kileen Texas, Three brothers: Jessie (Opai) Henderson, Charles (Brenda) Henderson of Augusta, Ga., and Gary (Wilma) Watts of Kileen Texas. Seventeen grandchildren, sixteen great grands and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
