HENDERSON Susan M. 'Susie' Henderson, 86, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2010. Susie was born August 15, 1923, in Orangeburg, South Carolina and had lived in Jacksonville for over 50 years. She had worked many years with her husband at the Arrow Zoric Cleaner's, she also worked at the Riverside Gown Shop and for over 20 years at Vogue. She greatly enjoyed time spent with her large family and will be truly missed by those she loved. Mrs. Henderson was predeceased by her parents, her loving husband of 35 years Amos Ross Henderson, her son, Harold D. Henderson, her grandson, Clinton Sean Ehlers and her many siblings. Survivors include her daughter, Susan R. 'Becky' Hall (Lester); sons, Kim Ross Henderson (Patricia Ann) and Benjamin William Henderson; sister, Kimmie Heron; grandchildren, Vincent & Ross Runnels, Kimmie Sue Henderson and Shannon Henderson; 8 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and loving friends. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Monday, February 22, 2010 at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Funeral services for Mrs. Henderson will be on Tuesday, February 23 at 11:00 am at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home with her grandson, Rev. Ross Runnels, Canoe Creek Christian Church officiating. Interment will follow the chapel services in Restlawn Memorial Park.
