Susan M. Davis of Carmel, NY died May 10, 2003. She was 57. She was born November 10, 1945 to Thomas and Irene Brieman Carney in Uniondale, NY. On August 7, 1965, she married Frederick Davis. He predeceased her. Susan received her Master's Degree of Acupuncture at the College of Traditional Acupuncture Institute, Columbia, Maryland. She later became a self-employed Acupuncturist. She was a member of the Carmel/Kent Chamber of Commerce. She volunteered at the Acupuncture Clinic at Chuan Yen Monastery in Kent. She also started the Millenium Interfaith Celebration at the Monastery on New Year's Eve. Dear mother of Susan Ryan of Carmel and Christopher Davis of Florida. Loving sister of Dennis Carney of Florida, Patricia Farrell of Long Island, Faith Sarno of MA, Irene Driscoll of Washington, DC and Gail Carder of California. Fond grandmother of four: Ashley, Allison, Jack and Mickey, Jr. A dear woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
