Allen, 51, of Gray, formerly of Fitchburg, Mass., died unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 13, in Maine Medical Center, Portland.Born on May 19, 1951 in Fitchburg, she was the daughter of Ernest and Henrietta Gagne Allen. She was educated in Fitchburg schools and graduated from St. Bernard’s Central Catholic High School in 1969. She attended Fitchburg State College. Miss Allen was employed as an assistant manager at Kmart Department Store in Auburn, Maine, a position she held for more than 28 years. She leaves her sister, Maureen Allen of Fitchburg; her dog Jessie; many friends and co-workers.ALLEN -- On Dec. 13, Susan M. Allen, 51, of Portland, Maine, formerly of Fitchburg, Mass. A memorial service will be held Monday, Dec. 23, at 5 p.m. in Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd., Fitchburg, preceeded by a calling hour from 4 to 5 p.m. in the funeral home.
