ALLEN Susan Louise Allen, 62, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2010. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, E. Wendell Allen. Mrs. Allen attended Western Kentucky University where she was a student in the Art School. She worked at Baptist Medical Center for twenty years, having finished her career as the assistant manager of the gift shop. Mrs. Allen was preceded in death by her father, John Howard Duff; brother, John Howard Duff, Jr.; and son, Drew Wendell Allen, Sr. In addition to her husband, Wendell, she is survived by her mother, Geneva Duff; sister, Linda Smallwood (Larry); son, Michael C. Allen (Tina); daughter, Andrea L. McGee (Chris); daughter-in-law, Jessica Allen (Jason); 4 grandsons, Bram, Drew, Byron, and Kamron; and favorite granddaughter, Sadie. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 9, in the Chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. with Rev. Bob Nelson officiating.
