Susan Lee Harrington of Glenmont Susan Lee Harrington, 48, of Glenmont succumbed to an eight year fight with breast cancer on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospital surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Endicott, NY on August 11, 1962, she was the daughter of Elsie J. Fendick of Endicott and the late William H. Fendick. Susan graduated from Utica College in 1984 and was employed as an occupational therapist at Albany Medical Center Hospital, St. Peter's Hospital and the Villa. She enjoyed golf, boating on Lake George and spending time with her family and many close friends. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by a step-daughter, Lauren Harrington. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Harrington and daughters, Erin, Megan and Jennifer Harrington, all of Glenmont; a brother, Kerry Fendick of Highlands, NJ; sister-in-law, Maura Harrington of Stuyvesant Falls; and mother-in-law, Maryann Harrington of Carmel. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday from 3 to 8 pm at the Applebee Funeral Home, 403 Kenwood Ave., Delmar. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9 am Wednesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar.
