Susan Johnson, 46, Sarasota, died May 25, 2002. She was born Dec. 24, 1955, in Henderson, Ky., and came to Sarasota in 1968 from Lakeland. She was an office supervisor for N&M Heating and Cooling Co. She was a Protestant. Survivors include her companion, Laurie Frey; her mother, Norma D. Fryer of Sarasota; sons Mark and Shawn of Sarasota; a sister, Beth Wilson of Sarasota; a brother, John Fryer of Sarasota; grandparents Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Denton of Henderson.
