Susan Elizabeth Malloy, age 83 FREDERICKSBURG, VA & PORTLAND -- Susan Elizabeth Malloy, age 83, passed away on Thursday November 21, 2013, in Stafford, Va. where she had been residing in the loving care of her daughter Mary Jo's, and her family. 'Susie' was employed for most of her career creating garments and doing alteration work. She most enjoyed her time at the Maine Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired; where her ability added to the production capacity to produce goods. She retired from working after a stint with Pratt Abbott cleaners. A communicant of St. Peters Roman Catholic Church in Portland Maine, she enjoyed her membership in the Daughters of Isabella and the Sacred Heart of Sodality. Susan is predeceased by her parents Eleuterio and Josephine Guidi; her husband William A. Malloy, Sr.; her sons Eugene and Wayne; a grand-daughter Angela, as well as her siblings, Angela (Neff) and Benjamin Guidi. Surviving is a daughter Mary Jo and her husband Raymond Piaskowski of Stafford Va., a son William A. Malloy Jr. and his wife Rhonda of Windham, a son John of Portland; grandsons, Wayne Malloy Jr. of Everett, Mass., Brian Malloy of Westbrook, and Will Piaskowski, of Stafford, Va., granddaughters, Kirsten Malloy of Windham, Jennifer Malloy of Bangor, and Erin Malloy of Windham. Visiting hours for Susan will be held this Tuesday, November 26 from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland, ME. A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial for Susan will be celebrated on Wednesday November 27 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 72 Federal St. Portland, ME. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland.
