Susan passed away peacefully in Ottawa on Saturday, February 8, 2003 with family and friends by her side. Susan was the much loved daughter of Louis and the late Ida Lee and beloved sister of Jim (Sheila) Lee, Nancy (Bill) Brooks, Ruth (Ian) Blair and Brien (Carol) Lee. She was the much loved aunt of Laurel and David Blair, Neil and Ian Thompson and John Brooks and Christian and Brandon Lee. Susan faced her illness with courage, dignity and grace and she will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. She was a dedicated teacher who valued her colleagues and students at Ridgewood Public School in Coboconk where she most recently taught Grade 5. A Service in Memory of Susan will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Church, 1099 Maitland Avenue, Ottawa. Donations to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
