WALLINGFORD - Susan E. Wollschlager Martin, 58, of Pond Hill Road., Wallingford, died at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 12, 2011. She was the beloved wife of Brian L. Martin.She was born in Meriden, Jan. 21, 1953, daughter of Ada J. Lahey Thompson of North Port, Fla., and formerly of Wallingford and the late Irving Wollschlager. She worked as a CT Scan Technician at Meriden Wallingford Hospital and recently at Radiology Group P.C. in Hamden.In addition to her husband, and her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Jamie L. Martin of Wallingford; her son, and daughter-in-law, Patrick R. and Lisa M. Martin, of Maryland; her cousins, Robert and Rae Losnes, and family of Meriden; several nieces and nephews including, Kim, Holly, Danielle and Jeff Wollschlager; and her dear friends, Debbie Riveccio of Branford, and JoAnne and Michael Salter, and their children, Alyssa, Michael Jr., and Vivienne, all of Wallingford. She was predeceased by her three brothers, Dennis, Richard and Butch Wollschlager.Her family will receive relatives and friends in The Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 N. Main St., Ext., Wallingford on Tuesday, May 17, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., when the funeral cortege will proceed to St. John Cemetery in Wallingford for a graveside service.
