Susan Dowds Lee Susan Dowds Lee , 59, of House died Sept. 10, 2003 at her home. She was born May 25, 1944 to Stanley and Elva (Jagers) Dowds in Park Rapids, Minn. Mrs. Lee married Bill Lee on July 25, 1960 in Claude, Texas. She was a nationally known artist and member of the House United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law Grady Le Eldridge. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Melissa Saulsberry and husband Ty of House and Melanie Dinwiddie and husband Tommy of Capitan; six grandchildren, Tara, Ashley and Lee Griggs all of House and Ronnie and Grady Teke Eldridge both of Capitan and Kyra Dinwiddie of Aztec; three sisters, Gay Strong of Portales, Sheryl Haynes of Tucumcari and Liz Hamlet of Dallas, Texas. Services were 10 a.m. today at the House School Gymnasium. Arrangements are by LaGrone Funeral Chapel & Crematory of Roswell.
