Susan Dewey Anderson, 72, of Framingham, passed away Tuesday March 12, 2013 in Naples, Florida. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dr. Jerome D. Anderson of Framingham; her children: Dr. Elizabeth Marie Anderson and her husband Gregory Cappello of Westford, Michael Dean Anderson and his wife Margaret M. Pinkham of Woburn, Matthew Dewey Anderson and his partner Sebastian Cordoba of Los Angeles and Dr. Jerome Bradford Anderson and his partner Davis Wang of New York City; her cherished grandchildren: Lauren, Luke, Lydia, Lily and Lance Anderson; her siblings: Daniel Dewey and his wife Kathy of Quincy, Frank Dewey and his wife Suzie, Cathy Treveloni and her husband Ron and Paul Dewey and his wife Patsy all of New Jersey, and John Dewey of Marlborough; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Susan was born and raised in Marlborough, and graduated from Emmanuel College in 1962. She married Dr. Jerome D. Anderson in 1963. After working as a homemaker and raising four children, she decided to follow her mother and father into the field of law. She graduated from Suffolk Law School in 1988 and worked at the Department of Industrial Accidents in Boston. After retiring, Susan spent part of her winters in Marco Island, Florida and her summers in Old Lyme, Connecticut. She enjoyed reading, spending time in the sun, looking at the ocean, talking with friends and family and being with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Judge George E. Dewey, her mother: Catherine (Murdock) Dewey and her brother, George Dewey. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday March 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne Church, 20 Boston Road, Southborough with burial following at Edgell Grove Cemetery, 53 Grove Street, Framingham. Visiting hours are Sunday March 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Boyle Bros.
