Sue Pearl Williams, 85, of 217 Beechwood Ave., died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Laurens County, she was a daughter of the late John Polk Hudgens and Ella Thompson Hudgens. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church and Missionary Ministry. Survivors: A son, Albert Williams; sisters, Lulee Washington, Rowena Bailey and Lillian Harris, all of Greenville; and three grandchildren. Service: 1 p.m. Sunday at Mountain View Baptist Church.
