Obituary of Sue-Nell Anderson


Glennville - Sue Nell Anderson, 79, died March 15, 2003 at the home of her daughter, Janis McCurdy, after an extended illness. A native of Tattnall County, she resided in Glennville most of her life graduating from Glennville High School in 1942. She was owner of Sues Beauty Shop and retired in 1981. She was a charter member of Cornerstone Bible Church. Sue Nell was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert E. Anderson. Survivors: her husband of 61 years, Elton M. Anderson; daughter and son-in-law, Janis and Jimmy McCurdy of Glennville; granddaughter, Lisa McCurdy Barry of Glennville; grandson, Lee McCurdy of Shellman Bluff; two great-grandchildren, Blake Barry and Turner McCurdy; sister, Samarata Griffin; four brothers, Racile Dreggors, William Dreggors, Norris Dreggors, and Larry Dreggors; and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services: 3:00 p.m., Sunday at Cornerstone Bible Church conducted by Bro. Robert Kicklighter. Burial: Pigot Branch Cemetery. Pallbearers: Daniel Dreggors, Steve Dreggors, Mike Dreggors, Mark Griffin, Tommy Hilliard, and Glenn Purcell. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Cornerstone Bible Church, P.O.
