HERNDON, Va. Sue Mullins Miller, of Herndon, Virginia, died at home on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011. She was born in Clanton, Alabama on October 16, 1924, to Annie Gragg Mullins and Henry Clifford Mullins. She was raised in Tuscaloosa, attended the University of Alabama and was a lifelong fan of the Crimson Tide. She worked on Capitol Hill as a secretary to several U.S. Congressmen and Senators. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bruce Miller. She is survived by her daughter, Susanne Miller Jones (Todd); grandchildren, Sarah Susan Jones (Chris Cruz) and Douglas Todd Jones, all of Herndon, Va.; and brother, Henry Clifford Mullins (Norma); three nieces, April Mullins, Charlotte Anne Mullins Dorgan, and Mary Mullins (Mark Redditt); and one nephew, Henry Clifford Mullins, III (Claudia), all of Fairhope.
