MILLER, Sue Lynn, 66, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007, in Tampa. She was born December 25, 1940, in Albany, Ga., to Harry and Willie Mae (Huckabee) Hahn. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and founder of the Temple Terrace Leaguerettes. She worked at the medical department of University of South Florida and also worked at Maritrans Shipping Company before coming to Zephyrhills in 1980. She was former owner of "Millers Leap of Faith Book Store," was a volunteer with the Zephyrhills High School Band Boosters and attended the Community Chapel Church of God. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Miller of Zephyrhills, Fla.; two daughters, Charlynn (Tom) Bishop of Tampa and Shawn Ree Miller of Temple Terrace, Fla.; a son, Brent (Stacey) Miller of Land 0' Lakes, Fla.; four grandchildren; Duskie (Terrell), Kimmi (Junior), Amanda and Kendall Lin; three great-grandchildren, Qwynton, Markie and Reina; stepfather, Ernest Taylor of Panacea, Fla.; an aunt, Eunice Biggers of Nashville, Tenn.; numerous family and special lifelong friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2007, at the Community Chapel Church of God, with the Rev. Keith Reiley off iciating. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2007, at Whitfield Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society or to your favorite charity.
