Sue (OGorman) Wilcott Jackson, of Portsmouth, NH, formerly of Concord, Mass. and Charleston, S.C., died peacefully with family by her side, October 9, 2011 following complications from a stroke. Daughter of the late Purcell and Marian (Maltby) OGorman, Suzi was born in New York, NY, and grew up in Darien, CT. A graduate of Tufts University, Suzi was a preschool and elementary teacher, then a concierge in Boston, where she volunteered with multiple arts organizations. In Charleston, Suzi helped found the Greater Charleston Concierge Association, and volunteered with the Spoleto Festival USA and the Preservation Society. She leaves her children Randolph L. Wilcott and wife Kelly of Scottsdale, Arizona, Lisa Wilcott and partner Kathy ONeil of Kittery Point, Maine, and Leslie Wilcott-Henrie and husband Hunt Henrie of Lexington, Mass. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Taylor, Chance and Nicolas Wilcott and Alexander and Conor Henrie, brother Kimberly OGorman of Venice, Florida, her nieces and nephews and numerous friends of all ages. A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 22 at St. Georges Episcopal Church, 407 York Street in York Harbor, ME. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Edgewood Centre, Residents Recreation Fund, 928 South Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801.
