The family would like to thank the staff at Holyrood Extendicare and the University of Alberta Hospital for their wonderful care and support. Solitude - A Poem by Sue E. MacLeod Adams Let me sit alone by peaceful waters, Inconspicuous, so I may seek the truth, Or walk alone in still greening meadows, Where I can think and see and Know that life is good. Let me keep my individuality In this world of chaos, Be not obsessed to rule the earth, Then I have found a solitude That which binds heaven close to earth. There is no loneliness where thoughts Impart a candle glow into the darkest night. Just serenity, a restful beauty within the heart, That puts loneliness and solitude Into two worlds apart.
