CARTER Steven Wayne Carter, 52, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2002. Mr. Carter was born in Kyoto, Japan and had lived in Jacksonville for most of his life. He was a member of the Millwright Union Local #2411. He is survived by his father, Charles R. (Joan) Carter; mother, Jessie J. Jewell; 1 son, Michael Carter; 2 sisters, Kelly Pelley and Sherri Collins; 3 brothers, Jimmy & Ron Carter and Scott Hill; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, February 7, 2002, in the chapel of COREY-KERLIN FUNERAL HOME, 1426 Rowe Ave., with Rev. F. Ray Turner officiating.
