MACMILLAN, Steven James - Born July 27, 1946. Died peacefully on July 15, 2009 with family by his side. A true Leo to the end; strong, generous, and the life of any party. Together with his late brother Foster and parents Ken and Lillian, he came to Toronto from Rhode Island in 1951. The R.I. hot wienies were sorely missed. A born engineer, who discovered his innovative nature and love for science at a very young age. Steven was a true lover of the outdoors. He was often found at the cottage bird watching, or pointing out a constellation in the starry sky. He is survived by his best friend and wife Anya, and children Dathan and Alicia, who will forever feel blessed to have had such a hot sketch for a Dad. We'll meet you at the lake. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter 'Peel' Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga (Hwy. 10, north of QEW), on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the Chapel on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 4 o'clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, donations to the Humane Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
