Steven Elton Smith, 50    HOLLIS -- Steven Elton Smith, 50, who is believed to have passed away on Sept. 13, 2006, in Casco Bay, was born on Valentine's Day, Feb. 14, 1956, in Saco, to Elton Bud and Alva Smith of Hollis. He lived in the same house in Hollis until he married on July 12, 1975.     He married April (Wales) Smith, his high school sweetheart. Steven and April were both graduates of Bonny Eagle High School. They have been together since she was 14 and he was 16 years old. They celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary this past July.     After graduation, Steve owned and operated his own business, Steve's Cycle Shop, which was located in Hollis.     In 1982, he began building and managing his own apartment business- A&S Apartments in Hollis. Steve and his wife managed the business together.     Steve was a certified diver and loved diving for scallops every winter with his friends. He and his son, Lance Smith, also of Hollis, started lobstering about 14 years ago as a hobby. Since then he has fished 800 traps. His son also fishes and traps with his own boat.     Steve loved lobstering. He was always the first one to lend a hand if someone needed help. He had many friends in the lobstering community. He was very outgoing and friendly to everyone. He loved the ocean and was an avid boater.     He and his wife have lived on their pleasure boat Sea R Dream at Spring Point Marina for the past 20 years. Steve and April have been from the St. John's River in Canada to the Bahamas.     Steve is survived by his beloved wife, April (Wales) Smith; a son, Lance Smith; his parents, Elton Bud and Alva Smith of Hollis; two sisters, Karen Murray of Hollis and Sheryl Smith of St. Croix V.I.; and a large extended family and many friends.     A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. under the tent near the ocean, on the corner of Campus Center Drive and Fort Road in South Portland on the Southern Maine Community College Campus. A time of gathering and visiting will follow until 5 p.m. Pastor Bob White will officiate.     Arrangements are by Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home - Buxton     In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:     The Maine Fisherman's Forum    P.O.
