Steven Andrew Carter SPARTANBURG, SC-- Steven Andrew Carter, 57, of Spartanburg, died Friday, April 1, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born May 14, 1953, in El Paso, TX, he was the son of the late John Alfred Carter and is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Shores Carter. Steve was of the Methodist faith and an employee of Best Buy. In addition to his mother, survivors include a daughter, Rebeka Romero and husband Travis of Colorado; a brother, Alan Carter and wife Cindy of Spartanburg; a sister, Kathryn Carter of Spartanburg; and two nieces, Kesley Carter and Kari Mason both of Spartanburg. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2011, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Frank Lybrand.
