GRANT Stephen M. Grant, age 56, of Ansonia, beloved husband of Henie Morales Grant entered into eternal rest on July 11, 2010 in The Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Shelton on April 21, 1954, he was the son of John I. and Olga Fechko Grant. He was a Shelton resident for most of his life before moving to Ansonia. Stephen was a construction worker for the Cherry Hill Construction and Demolition Company in Branford and was a former blaster for the John J. Brennan Construction Company. He was a member of the Sahara Club and a Friend of Bill W. In addition to his wife he is survived by his step-daughters, Suzanne Thomas and her husband Leonard and Ruby Real; also survived by four brothers, John (Jack), Mark, Roger and Charlie Grant; and a sister Judith Grant. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
