BROWN, Stella (Gerrits) March 7, 1920 - December 22, 2007 It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Stella Brown of Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 87 years. Stella leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Shirley (Rich) Quam of Portland, Oregonas well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Stella was predeceased by her husband, Jim in 1990; daughter, Alice Winkel in 2007; four brothers and three sisters. Stella was employed by the T. Eaton Company for many years. She was an avid floral and vegetable gardener. She loved being in the company of family and friends for birthdays, Easter and Christmas dinners. She will be missed by family members and friends. In accordance with her wishes, all who knew and loved her can join with the family in the celebration of her life on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810-34 Avenue, Edmonton.
